Carlos Coste is a Venezuelan freediving champion who holds several world records. He was born on September 25, 1976, in Caracas, Venezuela. Coste started freediving in 2002 and quickly gained recognition for his incredible achievements in the sport.

In 2003, Carlos Coste set his first world record by becoming the first person to dive 100 meters in the discipline of constant weight (CWT) without fins. This was just the beginning of his impressive career as he went on to set several other world records.

In 2004, Coste became the first person to dive 100 meters with bi-fins in the CWT discipline. He later broke this record by diving 105 meters in 2005. Carlos Coste also holds the world record for the deepest dive on a single breath with a dive of 140 meters in the CWT discipline.

Apart from his world records, Carlos Coste has also won numerous awards and competitions in freediving, including the Red Bull Cliff Diving championship and the Caribbean Cup. Today, he continues to be an ambassador for the sport and an inspiration to many young freedivers around the world.
